Blogging Inspiration: Interview With Pradeep Kumar HBB

A new series has added to BloggerSpeaks, Its “Blogging Inspiration“… In this category you can find our latest conventions with Pro bloggers and successful people online. Today our inspiration is Pradeep Kumar from Hell bound bloggers dot com.

Hey Pradeep, hello… Welcome to our blog… As formality, can you please introduce about your self..

Thanks Sai for this awesome interview, am glad to connect with your blog readers. My name is S. Pradeep Kumar, I run a blog network called Slashsquare. We have two blogs under our network right now; they are HellBound Bloggers (HBB) and HostLater. We’ll launch another blog called MoviesDrop this month (hopefully). HellBound Bloggers (HBB) is my primary and first official blog.

Not much to say about my Education, apart from that I’m a fun loving guy, movie freak, proud Atheist and so on. I always want to make use of each and every day.

Professional Talk…..

1. How did you get into blogging? What motivates you into this profession?

I wanted to write something interesting ever since my school days. Not sure whether that was the reason why I created my first Blogspot blog years back, but I started to take blogging seriously when I launched HBB. I started to love it and also improved my way of writing.

Being a Professional Blogger I have full control over what I do. Most importantly, I know how I make money. I’m a passionate blogger and HBB gave me full confidence to proceed with ProBlogging. Now here I’m.

2. Which blogs you follow regularly?

Unfortunately due to my bad schedule I don’t really follow blogs properly. But I use some apps like Pulse and Flipboard to keep in touch with latest tech news and stuffs.

3. How you work, how many hours per a day you spend your time with computers and business?

I normally fix times for all my works but somehow they collapse. Usually I take my laptop  and work in a silent place. I also love to hear music when I blog. I have 2 active blogs and 1 upcoming blog, so I allocate considerable amount of time for these blogs. I spend like 10 to 15 hours per day, but it depends.

4. Do you have any fixed work routine?

No, I don’t have a fixed work routine. I blog at midnight mostly and my work schedule depends on my mood.

5. Do you have any blogging office? If not, what is your opinion about having an office for blogging purpose?

I don’t have any blogging office right now, quite recently only I involved into blogging fully. But yes it’ll be a great idea to have one. We don’t have to rent any place, we can just use our own place and do some decorations.

Having an office gives us silent environment and we can blog like a pro! Will be easy to avoid distractions.

6. Do you think blogging can be used as full time career? So many saying future is unsecured with blogging.

People can consider ProBlogging if they are really interested and passionate about blogging, unless they are passionate they won’t be able to see the fruits. We can’t just start a blog and become a problogger. It normally takes time to understand the atmosphere and make your blog standard according to that.

People who say future is unsecure with blogging are afraid of losing their blog stats or afraid of heavy competition in their niche. Yes, those are good reasons to be afraid of, but do remember you can stand out from the crowd if you can make your blog unique.

7. What is your personal experience with Panda, Penguin? Do you think anyone can 100% recover from it with hard work?

Google made those updates to keep their search results healthy; personally I think that is a great move by Google to keep the web clean.

Old bloggers don’t need to worry a lot about that, stop checking Google Analytics for few days, focus on your blog posts, edit or remove low quality posts and publish good quality posts for some days, then you can see your Analytics.

These updates will also help new bloggers, they’ll understand that if they spam the web they won’t be able to come up with their blogs. So they’ll try to write better posts.

8. Do you think natural blogging is going to be die soon ?

When bloggers realize that they can make money blogging, then the normal nature of blogging will be affected. Their first goal turns into making money and then second goal will be to improve their blog stats. Some bloggers forget the meaning of ‘blogging’. They can get good readers only if they publish good content.

9. Now let’s talk something about HBB, What is your main income stream and what we can expect in coming weeks from HBB?

HBB’s main income stream includes sponsored/paid posts and direct advertisements. We ditched Google Adsense long back, HBB and Adsense had a bad past. I’m focusing on writing unique and helpful blogs posts for HBB, I’ll be publishing some this month. Nothing new for HBB, now having my full focus on HostLater and MoviesDrop. HostLater seems to be dull, looking for a good writer.

10. What are your new targets in 2013? (BTW : Happy new year )

I don’t really have any specific goals or targets, but I want to launch some more blogs to expand our presence. Obviously we’ll launch blogs under Automobiles, Gaming and Gadgets niche very soon this year.

11. Finally can you share any valuable tip for upcoming bloggers with your blogging experience on how to survive in this blogging world according to latest Algo Updates!

I can see so much of passionate young new bloggers, but they do make mistakes sometimes. Newbie Bloggers, should remember this, money and traffic are not for you. That was not an offensive statement, I just meant, as a Newbie Blogger your aim is to make your blog standard. Most people spam their blogs for making money and generating traffic, they should avoid this and focus on building quality content and readers.

Personal Talk……

1. How you would like to spend your free time?

Apart from watching movies and hanging out with friends, I always wanted to be alone somewhere silent. Such silence helps me to recall so much of awesome experiences in my past. It helps me to think properly and decide further.

2. Can you share something about your personal life / life style

I’m just a normal guy, you can check my Foursquare profile to see where I hang out most often. I’m waiting for a good time to revamp myself.

3. If you are not a blogger presently, what you will be doing now?

Probably ended up in some IT company, doing the tasks by order.

4. How you felt when you received your first adsense check / paypal funds?

It was a great feeling, I was able to buy something from my own money, I really can’t think of anything wonderful than that. That was one of the few reasons I blog even though I faced so much of hurdles.

5. What is the most memorable moment in your entire life?

A visually impaired woman called me and thanked me for a blog post of mine. I couldn’t think of anything else the whole day, Blog Post URL.

6. Your day starts and ends with?

To be honest I don’t know when day starts and ends for me. L I’m answering these questions now and the time is 2:57AM, after this I’ll watch a movie and all of a sudden I’ll sleep. :D

7. If this world is going to end tomorrow, how you spend your time today? (:P) (Silly Question)

Actually this is a good question. I’ll invest half of my time to find a painless death solution and then I’ll go to a nearest good restaurant and eat all my favorite dishes. Then I’ll travel to a good hill spot and shout, “God, you suck!”.:P

8. Which type of girl you would like to marry in future? (We have some female readers also;)

Which type? LOL. I want to marry someone who is passionate about something, let it be anything legal say journalism, arts, designing, cooking, etc. I don’t want to marry someone who just spends her time doing nothing. :\
